Some students will progress quickly and go on to explain how interpretations have been developed by historians, they may be beginning to analyse the successes and failures of King John and may have incorporated evidence that they have gathered from other sources within extended responses to questions.
Some students will progress less quickly and will identify and briefly describe events from John's reign.
